My Reflection on the recently concluded
Skills Competition
My
thoughts and feelings about the recently concluded skills competition held at
the Camarin Campus was overwhelming, it was actually a mix emotions. Every body was trying to do their best in order
to win every category they are competing with,
some are happy because they’ll be able to have a day off and some are
happy simply because they’ll be able to meet again after a long time. But in totality, every one enjoyed the
activity. Though, it’s quite weird
because, it was like competing with your own siblings.
I was also competed though I didn’t bring home
the bacon because of the accident and some other factor I’m still happy and
contented knowing that it was still our brothers who won the game. It was like
playing with your family in one roof. That is how I felt that moment. On the
other hand still, we can not avoid some small arguments and silent protest for
some reason I don’t know, may be they become more affected and much into game,
may be that is the reason why. But nevertheless it was all fun.
If I’ll be ask by our head
madam Prado what can I suggest to make our skills competition become more
exciting and meaningful, I guess I would suggest to involve the boys in the
costume play so that their would be more students who can participate. I would also suggest a box for every
contestant where in they can cast their votes simply by dropping a one peso
coin in their respective boxes. Every one peso coin is equivalent to one vote.
Half of the proceeds will go to the TLE department funds and the other half
will be given to the winners. In this way every body will have a voice not only
the judges will decides who will win but the students will have the opportunity
to be heard through voting and also in
this way, we can help the TLE department to raise funds for other projects.
Lastly I would like to
congratulate not only the winners but all the BSE-TLE Students who participated,
our professors who equipped us to excel in different skills and of course our
Department Head for allowing us to showcase what we’ve got and most importantly
to God for making this skills competition possible.
